Commercial Business Development Manager
Full Time 37 hours
Up to 23 month fixed term Contract
Salary: Up to £61,000 + Excellent benefits + Car Allowance
Based in Pity Me, Durham, County Durham + travel and Hybrid Working
We’ve a great opportunity to become our Commercial Business Development Manager to continue to deliver the growth strategy for our non-appointed (Commercial) services, maximising commercial opportunities and identifying and developing new sales opportunities and business cases to meet targets.
You will lead and work closely with teams across our business to identify and pursue business development opportunities with existing and potential clients. We’re looking for you to provide the knowledge about the range and detail of possible services to be offered, along with researching and developing new and innovative sales strategies and business cases that work in conjunction with the activities of the NWL marketing team.
We’re looking for you to set an appropriate budget for retention and growth, along with monitoring and reporting on monthly physical and financial performance. You’ll work to develop a yearly business development strategy for non-appointed to deliver P&L targets
About you
We’re looking for you to have proven experience of delivering growth, business development and strategy creation and implementation in a commercial setting. You’ll have real results focus approach, be successful in Commercial negotiations, along with working in a target orientated performance environment.
You’ll have a strong, commercial background in business development or account management in any industry/sector - what’s more important is that you can demonstrate a track record of delivering growth and have the right behaviours to fit in with our business
We’re looking for you to have experience of identifying, developing, and delivering business development opportunities maximising income potential from new and existing clients. You’ll have a proven understanding of the sales cycle and the use of evolving and innovative sales techniques and strategies, along with proven knowledge of developing marketing strategies and business cases and how they interact with the sales cycle.
As you’ll be working with clients, both new and existing, you’ll have excellent presentation skills and proven experience of success in building and enhancing the reputation of an organisation with external bodies and customers.
As this role requires travel, we’re looking for you to have a full and valid UK driving licence.
