Operations Support Assistant
Location – Washington / Home Working (Hybrid)
Duration - 12 months secondment
Part Time – 22.5 hours per week
Salary - up to £19,520 pro rata, depending on experience
About the role
We have a great opportunity for someone to join us an Operations Support Assistant who will work as part of a team to provide a support function to the teams within Wastewater Networks. You’ll be working within the commercial contracts team who are responsible for all contractor led delivery and you will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders providing support to the successful delivery of key projects through using company systems to review and input data, you will manage large quantities of commercial data assessing contract partner pricing submissions. You’ll be providing support to technical support advisors, analysts, project managers, operations controllers and managers and provide cover for other operations support assistants within the team.
We’re looking for you to provide support to the co-ordination of essential information to meet our departmental and business objectives. You will distribute information and perform data and process validation to increase our ability, as a business, to be industry leading.
About you
We’re looking for the successful candidates to have proven experience of working in an administrative role, producing reports and working with data, along with working to tight deadlines.
You’ll have proven excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to discuss issues with a confident communication manner on telephone and face to face, along with the proven ability to build strong positive relationships with stakeholders.
We’re looking for you to have proven and excellent knowledge/use of Microsoft Office packages, in particular Excel, Word and Outlook, along with the ability to use and maintain Excel spreadsheets.
