About the role

We’ve a great opportunity to become Apprentice Customer Engagement Assistant within our Customer Research & Engagement Team. We are looking to communicate our strategic campaigns through continuous and sustained engagement with our customers and local communities, enabling our vision of being National Leader and providing world class service through unrivalled customer experiences.

We’re looking for you to coordinate and deliver customer engagement to promote our support services to customers. You will also communicate with our customers sharing messages from our marketing campaigns.

You’ll work with local communities and key stakeholder groups to increase our reach and impact through effective partnerships. You’ll also be coordinating engagement activity to influence behaviour change and contribute to various service sign up.  We’re also looking for you to ensure we begin to build on-the-ground intelligence and working relationships to help get ahead of any challenges and protect reputation and brand.

This role will also support reporting against performance metrics, assist the wider team with continual progress evaluation and involve the planning, attendance and evaluation of our customer engagement vehicle (Flo), events and Customer Heroes.

In addition to your work experience, you'll complete a level 3 apprenticeship in Events Assistant where you'll gain academic knowledge to complement your practical work.

About you

We’re looking for you to have experience of assisting with customer engagement projects, along with experience of attending, managing and organising events as a company ambassador.

You’ll have familiarity with a broad range of communication and engagement channels.  You’ll ideally have experience of speaking in public.

We’re looking for you to have the proven ability to ‘see the bigger picture’, to ‘think on your feet’ and hold meaningful conversations with our customers.

It would be really useful if you had experience of photography and digital media (including video and social media channels), along with proven written and verbal communication skills and the ability to write clear reports and commentaries.

We are looking for you to have a grade 4 or above in Maths & English GCSE.

Please note you will be employed through our Apprentice provider called ATA
