Satellite Warehouse/Logistics Operator
Full Time – 40 hours
Permanent
Salary – Up to £32,208 depending on experience
Location – Role will be based in Lound, Suffolk
About the role
We have an exciting new opportunity to join our new and improved Logistics team as a Satellite Warehouse/Logistics Operator to take full responsibility for the daily operation of a satellite Warehouse.
Working independently, you will manage the day-to-day operation and will be responsible for receiving and checking supplier deliveries. You will receipt these into the company inventory system and provide internal customers with material, liaising with suppliers and customers on any delivery issues that may arise and transferring stock between sites.
You provide an excellent level of customer service, ensuring internal customers’ requirements are fully satisfied and product complaints are adequately dealt with.
You will also ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times and you will also be required to cover holidays for other Satellite stores as required.
About you
We are looking for you to have previous experience of driving a forklift – Counterbalance.
Due to the physical aspect of this role, you will need to be physically able to off load, check and store deliveries according to safety requirements.
You will be comfortable working alone to perform risk assessments/ 60 second checks before performing certain tasks.
You will need to have strong customer service skills, able to deal with internal customers in a courteous and professional manner.
We are looking for you to have strong numeracy and literacy skills, with a keen eye for detail and a high level of data entry accuracy.
You will require a full UK Manual Driving Licence.
