About the role
The Senior Quality Manager is a newly created role within NWL’s Assets commercial team. The role has overall responsibility for developing, managing and improving NWL’s site construction Quality Assurance standards, policies, and procedures.
As NWL gears up for the next AMP 8 asset investment period (2025-2030), we are developing our internal capability to effectively and efficiently deliver our forecast £3.6bn AMP 8 capital spend, in support of NWL’s business objectives and customer outcomes.
The role will provide advice and guidance to stakeholders on NWL’s quality management processes and procedures, undertake assurance reviews of contractor quality assurance plans, and work with NWL project teams, our Strategic Technical Partners and framework delivery partners to improve quality assurance outcomes.
The Senior Quality Manager is also responsible for managing the demand pipeline, engagement, and performance of project NEC ECC site supervisors, provided through our Strategic Technical Partners.
About you
If you have proven experience as a Quality Assurance Manager, an ECC Site Supervisor or similar, we would love to hear from you!
You will have strong knowledge of construction quality assurance processes and industry standards, and experience in managing and coordinating project site supervisors or subcontractors.
You will have an excellent understanding of NEC ECC contract management principles and practices, particularly in relation to client PM, ECC Supervisor and ECC PM roles & responsibilities.
You will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to evaluate and mitigate risks.
