About the role
An opportunity has arisen for multiple vacancies for Schedulers based in Northumbrian Water Group’s Maintenance Support team, providing scheduling support to the Maintenance field teams.
Working within a busy team, your principle duty would be to allocate work (reactive and planned maintenance) to field based technicians in an optimal manner. Effective and efficient allocation of work involves the operation of several corporate systems Maximo and OFSC and regular communication with key stakeholders.
Work schedules require constant and timely updating due to the reactive nature of the work orders received by the Maintenance Department. In addition, some report running on job status and completion using the corporate systems is undertaken on an ad hoc basis by the individuals in this team.
About you
You will have experience of working with multiple stakeholders in a highly reactive environment. You will be a team player with excellent communication skills and self-motivation. Adept in the use of Microsoft software, you will have strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and you should also be able to work with accuracy, discretion and confidentiality.
The successful candidate will have excellent planning and organisation skills and have proven experience of managing challenging and competing demands.
You’ll be customer focused and professional and have the ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Attention to details and a great level of accuracy is essential as well as having a methodical, logical and pragmatic approach to your work. You’ll also be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
