About the role
We have several exciting opportunities to join our tactical planning teams in either water or wastewater. Our Asset Planners are the central point of contact for water or wastewater treatment and network asset issues.
Our assets may be anything from our pipes in the ground to equipment or pumps at treatment works. This means that you will take full responsibility for the asset needs in your assigned geographical area.
You’ll be the central point of contact for operational colleagues as you understand an issue; analyse the information; determine the root cause(s); undertaking value assessments; and identifying options.
This means you’ll partner with a wide range of stakeholders and operational teams using your technical understanding of asset operation to review asset need requirements.
You will maintain excellent communication with your stakeholders as you’ll lead meetings and regular communication to ensure they’re fully informed.
About you
Are you analytical with a passion for data analysis?
The successful candidate will be comfortable interpreting a wide range of information and have excellent analytical skills. You will have experience evaluating complex data and produce accurate written reports. This means experience of using Excel is essential.
You’ll demonstrate the ability to build good working relationships within your own team, with departments across the business and with supply partners.
You will have a confident and flexible approach to planning and managing your time effectively to meet the needs of the team. This means you will be expected to use initiative to challenge, ensuring that our activities and plans deliver maximum value for the business.
It would be beneficial for you to have asset management experience or qualification and knowledge of wastewater network or treatment processes. Knowledge of an engineering discipline would be beneficial. Whether you are a recent graduate or have relevant asset management experience, we are keen to hear how you can join our team and make a positive difference.
Initial interviews will take place online during week commencing 20th January.
