Are you passionate about caring for the environment? We have an exciting opportunity to join our Asset Directorate as a Capital Delivery Programme Manager, working with colleagues to lead the successful delivery of multiple projects all of which are aligned to our business plan outcomes. We’re looking for you to own the optimised delivery plan and achieve maximum levels of benefit realisation within funding parameters, ensuring successful return on capital investment for NWL.
You will have accountability for a Capital Investment Programme of up to c£100m per annum and lead a team of Project Managers to drive efficient and effective delivery. You will provide effective leadership for the programme, nurturing and sustaining a high-performance teams culture. You will embed innovation and continuous improvement within your teams, while demonstrating delivery of efficiency, best practice, rigorous application of programme and project management process and achievement of a high level of predictability of output.
You will own and lead development of the Programme Delivery Plan including planning optimisation and ongoing management and maintenance of the plan throughout the programme lifecycle. You will be responsible for the delivery route selection and head up procurement driving an integrated delivery approach across internal resources as well as external suppliers and partners. You will manage substantial contracts, or multiple smaller contracts at any stage in the programme lifecycle. Ultimately, we want to see creativity being used to attain new levels of delivery performance.
We are looking for you to deliver unrivalled customer experience to both internal and external customers, demonstrating effective measurement, monitoring, and reporting. You will also be managing stakeholder relationships and communication, ensuring stakeholders are well-informed and aligned to the programme.
You will ensure your team and supply partner activities align to company quality standards, satisfy relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, and are carried out safely to ensure everyone goes home safe every day. You will ensure the team is sufficiently resourced and fully trained to deliver effective and safe design and construction.
